Active U Autumn is back after a one-year hiatus with more features and easier tracking. MHealthy’s eight-week physical activity challenge encourages each one of us in the U-M community to strive for the same goal – being active.
Individuals at all fitness levels can participate. Active U Autumn is free and encourages moving 120 minutes or more per week. Activity is logged on the MHealthy Portal or by syncing to a tracking device. All employees, students, retirees and employee spouses/OQAs can join.
Registration is now open on the MHealthy Portal, powered by Asset Health. Tracking activity minutes starts on Sept. 20.
Those who participated in Active U earlier this year will see similar improvements to the fall program:
- Easier tracking on the MHealthy Portal
- Sync to more wearables, watches and apps (including Apple Watch)
Benefits-eligible participants can also access MHealthy’s new exercise video library, featuring more than 50 videos. Class categories include strength training, cardio, yoga, meditation and more.
The deadline to register is October 4. Choose between individual participation or join a team for extra support.
Participants will also receive weekly email reminders with well-being tips, encouragement, program updates and more.
