Cool salads for hot summer days

Salads are great anytime of the year but there’s something about enjoying a cool salad on a warm summer day that can’t be beat!

July classes are from 12 – 12:45 p.m. Sign up for one class or both:

  • July 19 Class: Fruit and Veggie Salads (12 – 12:45 p.m.) – Summertime is when fresh fruits and vegetables are at their peak and usually cost less. In this class, you’ll prepare a caprese salad and a cabbage coleslaw with sesame vinaigrette. Both are perfect for gatherings and can be made ahead of time.

  • July 26 Class: Whole Grain Salads (12 – 12:45 p.m.) – Whole grain salads are easy to make and can last for days. In this class, you’ll pair seasonal vegetables with the nutty texture of farro or crisp, fresh corn. Toss in a lively dressing and you have a bright and flavor-packed dish.
