Learn the Basics of Retirement during This Free Event

TIAA, one of the two trusted companies administering the university’s retirement savings plans, will offer a free, U-M-only webinar Thursday, June 8. The hour-long course will help employees chart and track their retirement plans using TIAA tools.

The webinar, Retirement Planning Advice: Tools to Stay on Track, will feature local TIAA strategist Sal Vallasso and TIAA Director of Integrated Solutions Jason Frizzell. Topics will include:

  • The importance of developing a retirement plan
  • The TIAA Retirement Advisor tool
  • Automating your retirement plan with TIAA’s Retirement Plan Portfolio Manager tool

The real-time session takes place from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time. Register on the TIAA website.
