March Classes Celebrate National Nutrition Month
Registration opens February 6 for March cooking classes. Register by 10 a.m., February 23.
Eating well doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming. March is recognized as National Nutrition Month. In support, this month’s classes will focus on healthy, budget-friendly dishes using pantry staples and frozen fruits and veggies. Each 45-minute class includes interacting live with an expert chef and dietitian.
Sign up for one or both virtual classes:
-
March 1: Cooking from the Pantry (12 – 12:45 p.m.) – Grains, beans, pasta, vegetables and fish are always good to have on hand. In this class, you’ll use ingredients from your cupboard (like tuna, noodles, beans and tomato paste) to create easy and delicious meals.
-
March 15: Meals from the Freezer (12 – 12:45 p.m.) – Only a few more months until your local grocer and farmers markets are filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. For now, reach into the freezer to make fast and fabulous dishes like veggie fried rice and a mixed berry crumble.
New Classes Each Month – Sign Up to be Notified
MHealthy hosts two new cooking classes each month. Registration opens a few weeks before the first class date – sign up to be notified when registration opens for new classes.
