MHealthy Workshop: Forming Healthy Habits that Stick

Many of us start the New Year by making resolutions to exercise regularly, meditate daily, sleep consistently or participate in some type of healthy activity more often. We approach January with enthusiasm and devotion to achieving our resolutions. Unfortunately, for many of us, our efforts start to wane as the winter months pass.

Why do we struggle to maintain our resolutions? What can we do to transform well-intended goals into regular habits?

MHealthy’s new “Forming Healthy Habits That Stick” workshop can help. Sign up for the June 1 in-person workshop to:

  • Understand why goal setting is not as effective as creating systems when it comes to habit formation

  • Learn why shaping an identity that aligns with the desired habit is important for success

  • Learn how habits work and  how to implement the laws that make habits stick

Who Should Attend:

The Forming Healthy Habits that Stick workshop is open to any U-M or Michigan Medicine faculty or staff member who wants to learn more about forming healthier habits in their life.
