Put Your Health at the Top of Your List

National Women’s Health Week from May 8-14 is an annual reminder for women and girls to focus on their everyday health. The theme is “Forward Focus: Achieving Healthier Futures Together.”

According to the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization, women in the Americas were disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Given what all have endured the past few years, it’s important to renew the health of your body, mind and spirit.

  • Cervical cancer screening

  • Sexually transmitted infections (STD) screening

  • Skin cancer screening (with copay) and counseling (no cost share)

  • Diabetes Prevention Programs

  • Wellness check for high blood pressure, heart health, stroke health and more

View a complete list of services covered for women of all ages through U-M’s Health Plans.

To get a baseline on your current health, meet with your primary care practitioner for an annual exam. All U-M Health Plans cover annual preventive visits at 100 percent with no cost share.
