Finances can impact your overall well-being

“Financial well-being is an important part of your overall personal well-being,” says Alena Williams, Health Risk Reductions Program Manager for MHealthy. “When there is uncertainty around finances or a sense of worry about the future, it can impact your physical and mental health, your sleep, your relationships with loved ones and your performance at work.”

In fact, according to a recent survey from MarketWatch, personal finances continue to be a leading cause of stress for many. Nearly 9 in 10 people feel financial stress, with 65% stating that their finances are the most stressful aspect of their life.
