Trailblazers of sport, entertainment and enterprise will headline free webinars designed to help women focus on financial and career goals.
Actor and entrepreneur Jessica Alba and Grand Slam tennis icon/entrepreneur Venus Williams will lead two marquee panels. The events, offered as part of Fidelity Investments’ monthlong Women’s History Month menu, will be livestreamed.
Calling Changemakers
Alba founded The Honest Company and Honest Beauty as safe, sustainable and socially-conscious brands. She will address “How to be a changemaker: Writing a new story for yourself and the next generation” Tuesday, March 7, at noon Eastern Time.
Fidelity’s Women Talk Money team will welcome Alba to discuss how women can create new opportunities in their careers. They’ll share tips women can apply individually and together to strengthen financial wellness and jump-start planning for the future.
Know Your Worth
Seven-time Grand Slam tennis champion and entrepreneur Williams will lead discussion of “Knowing your worth: Creating an action plan for your money and career goals” Monday, March 20, at noon Eastern Time.
Williams will join the team for a discussion about knowing, and growing, your worth. Takeaways will include insights about recognizing your value and advocating for yourself in the workplace, as well as maximizing opportunities in career development and earning potential.
Williams has translated athletic success into entrepreneurial opportunity. Her athletic apparel, nutrition and interior design brands are thriving, and she is also a multi-franchise owner with Jamba and a New York Times best-selling author.
