The Embracing Change Voices of Staff team created a community of practice in October 2015, including a speaker series for staff interested in leading change efforts on campus. The next event in the series features Vic Strecher, PhD, MPH, from the School of Public Health on April 7 from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. in Palmer Commons Forum Hall. All staff members are welcome to attend the series, freee of charge. Vic is a well-known and respected campus speaker. His presentation, Life on Purpose:How Living for What Matters Most Changes Everything, focuses on strategies for increasing energy, willpower, well-being, resilience, and performance. The presentation incorporates ancient philosophy, the latest scientific knowledge, and advanced technology to create a vision for health across one's lifetime. Want to attend? Please RSVP to the Voices of Staff Embracing Change team or contact Anissa Majer ([email protected]) with any questions. To receive invitations to future Embracing Change community of practice events, add your name to this self-joinable MCommunity group or contact Amy Peters ([email protected]).
