Basic Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

  • 5 pita bread, whole wheat
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation

  1. Break the bread into the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel "S" blade. Add the garlic.
  2. Crumble, using the pulse feature until evenly ground.
  3. Place on a cookie sheet in a preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until evenly toasted and lightly browned. Cool and store in a resealable plastic bag in the freezer.
