Berry Yogurt Swirl
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups frozen berry medley, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries

1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice or 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar can be substituted

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
-
2 cups Greek nonfat plain yogurt

2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
-
4 teaspoons slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation

Combine the berries, maple syrup and lemon juice in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until mixture thickens.

Stir in butter.

Fold the remaining 2 tablespoons of maple syrup into the yogurt.

In four sundae glasses or short, wide glasses: alternate 1 heaping tablespoon of the berries with 2 tablespoons of yogurt, ending up with the yogurt. You should have enough for 4 layers of each.

Top with slivered almonds and serve immediately.
