Ingredients
- 3 large ripe bananas, peeled, cut into coins and frozen
- 1/3 cup almond milk, unsweetened or milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, preferably 60-70% cacao
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- In the bowl of a food processor, add frozen bananas, almond milk and cocoa powder(you may have to adjust amount of milk depending on size of the bananas). Blend until mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down sides every 30 seconds. Add the chocolate chips, vanilla extract and salt and blend until chocolate chips have broken down into small bits and are incorporated into all the the nice cream mixture.
- Pour the contents into a loaf or other small pan. Freeze 2 hours or until solid. Scoop and enjoy!
