Ingredients
- 6 large carrots, cut into bite size pieces on the diagonal
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
- 1 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients. Add the carrots and coat with the soy sauce mixture. Spread carrot and sauce mixture onto lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, stirring carrots halfway through. Bake until all sauce is absorbed and carrots are beginning to brown. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes
