Lemon Basil Ginger Ale
Ingredients

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon basil, finely chopped

1 teaspoon ginger root, grated

2 cups sparkling mineral water
Preparation

In a small bowl or jar, combine lemon juice, honey, basil and ginger.

Allow to steep 30 minutes.
Strain and divide into two glasses.
Add sparkling water to each glass.

Add ice, if desired.
Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
