Smoked Oyster and Cucumber Canapes

Ingredients

  • 1 English cucumber, cut into 18 slices about 1/4" thick
  • 1/4 cup Mustard Dill Sauce, available in refrigerated seafood section of well-stocked markets
  • 18 smoked oysters
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill weed
  • 2 lemons, preferably Meyer lemons, thinly sliced

Preparation

  1. Cut each lemon slice into 8 wedges.
  2. Place a 1/2 teaspoon of Mustard Dill Sauce onto each cucumber round. Top with an oyster. Garnish with fresh dill sprig and a small wedge of Meyer lemon and serve.
