The U-M Children's Centers provide care for close to 500 children of faculty, staff, and students from all over the world. The centers employ over 120 full-time staff members and nearly 100 student and non-student temporary employees. The play-based programs are designed by teaching teams adapting to meet the needs and interests of the children. We maintain low teacher-to-child ratios so relationships can flourish.
Our staff serve children, families, and coworkers from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. Individuals working at our centers grow in their profession through regular professional development opportunities and share their unique experiences and creativity while collaborating with coworkers.
Our student and temporary staff are offered schedules based on program needs and their availability.
