Are you getting the most of your U-M Health Plan? Take a fresh look at the university’s Mail Order Pharmacy, which offers cost savings and store-to-your-door convenience.
Why Mail Order Meds?
- Mail order drugs generally offer the best value for 90-day supplies, such as meds for hypertension, diabetes and other chronic conditions.
- Delivery to your home is fast and free.
- You can complete orders/refills and make payments online.
- You can use your PayFlex card if you have a Health Care FSA.
How Does it Work?
Using U-M’s Mail Order Pharmacy is simple. Your physician electronically submits your 90-day prescription to the Mail Order Pharmacy. Once your meds are in the system, you can handle transactions all online. Mail order staff are available by phone, email and text to answer your questions, and you’ll get reminders when it’s time for a refill or reauthorization.
Name Change on July 1
New users, please note: On Thursday, July 1, NoviXus Pharmacy Services, U-M’s current mail order pharmacy, will become Birdi. On that day, the Birdi website will go live, with inquiries to the former NoviXus website automatically forwarding to the Birdi site. Current users’ prescriptions and info will automatically appear in their new Birdi accounts, with no action on your part required.
