It comes as no surprise that managing finances and money can be stressful for many people. In fact, studies continue to find that nearly 9 in 10 in the U.S. feel stress about money.

Financial stress can occur when there’s uncertainty around finances, a sense of worry about the future or a lack of security. Like most types of stress, this can impact your sleep, physical and emotional health, relationships, performance at work and family life.

April is National Financial Capability Month, a good time to boost your financial knowledge.  Financial literacy means having a basic understanding of how to handle money matters like paying bills, managing debt and saving money. This knowledge is essential when it comes to making good financial decisions for you and your family.
