September Virtual Cooking Class: Delicious Bowls and Soups 

Learn to make delicious, healthier foods at MHealthy’s free virtual cooking classes. Registration opens on August 21 for September’s classes. Register by 10 a.m. September 7.

September’s classes focus on creating delicious bowls and soups. Sign up for one class or both.

  • September 13 Class: Going Bowling (12 – 12:45 p.m.) – Build a bowl with beautiful colors, textures and flavors! In this class, you’ll create bowls using a variety of whole grains, vegetables, legumes and lean proteins brimming with health-promoting nutrients.

  • September 27 Class: Simple Blender Soups (12 – 12:45 p.m.) – As the weather gets colder there is nothing more comforting than a delicious bowl of soup. In this class, you’ll create soups that can be made ahead of time for convenient lunches and dinners. They are also a great way to get more nutritious vegetables!

MHealthy hosts new cooking classes each month. Registration opens a few weeks before the first class date – sign up to be notified when registration opens for new classes.

MHealthy Cooking Classes support the growing field of culinary medicine. It explores the links between food and health, applying the foundations of nutritional science side-by-side with traditional medical interventions in clinical care.
