Make Sure Your Dentist is In-Network

Utilizing an in-network dentist can help maximize the value of your Delta Dental plan while ensuring efficient, hassle-free service. When you receive care from a dentist who is in-network, you will likely save the most money out-of-pocket.

Ensure that your dentist is still in your network when you call to schedule or confirm your next appointment. Some dentists may change which networks they participate with over time.

You can go to any dentist, but your out-of-pocket costs will vary depending on the level of the dentist’s participation with Delta Dental:

  • Your lowest out-of-pocket costs will be with a Delta Dental PPO dentist.
  • A Delta Dental Premier dentist participates with Delta Dental but your out-of-pocket costs will be higher.
  • If you visit a nonparticipating dentist, you will be responsible for any charges above Delta Dental’s fee schedule, in addition to any copay or deductible.

Find a Participating Dentist

There are several ways to find a participating dentist near you:

  • Visit the Delta Dental Find-a-Dentist tool to find an in-network dentist near you.
  • Call Delta Dental’s Customer Service department toll-free at (800) 524-0149, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) to speak with a Delta Dental Customer Service representative.
