Many U-M faculty and staff prefer to use a name that is different from their legal name.
Beginning in June, benefits-eligible faculty and staff who have set a preferred name through Wolverine Access will now see it displayed on the MHealthy Portal.
This change impacts benefits-eligible U-M faculty and staff only. If you do not have a preferred name, your legal name will continue to be used on the portal.
The MHealthy Portal, powered by Asset Health, offers an inclusive suite of health and well-being programs and resources to benefits-eligible faculty and staff and their U-M health plan enrolled spouse/other qualified adult. It houses the MHealthy Rewards health questionnaire, meditation videos, goal setting and popular challenges like Active U and the Fruit and Veggie Challenge.
For more information on how to enter, update, and/or delete your preferred name, refer to the U-M Preferred Names Policy. Note, it may take a few weeks for any changes to appear on the MHealthy Portal.
