Green Beans with Toasted Nuts
Ingredients

1/2 cup water

1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, sliced

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or more to taste

2 tablespoons pine nuts, lightly toasted
Preparation

Bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil in a medium skillet. Add beans and cook, covered, for 3 minutes. Drain, return the
skillet to the heat and add the olive oil and garlic. Cook an additional 3 minutes, tossing to evenly distribute the heat throughout the beans and garlic. Add salt and pepper. Toss with the pine nuts and serve.
